1401 Lab is a specialised software development laboratory for the oil and gas industry. For over 20 years we have been building simulation, monitoring and dispatching systems for pipeline transport of gas, oil and petroleum products.
Our Journey
The laboratory started with the development of PCC “Vesta” — a software and computing complex for gas transport networks. The complex evolved from a research tool into an industrial system deployed in real-world operations.
Building on accumulated expertise, the scope of work was expanded: systems were developed for the oil sector — an oil and petroleum product transport network simulator with a dispatcher training module, cargo flow planning systems and leak detection systems.
Today the next generation is under development — a multi-domain platform based on import-independent technologies with a microservices architecture and a Web interface.
